What is Helvetica's Nightmare?
I'm sure you're asking that right about now. Wait, you're not? What are you asking then? Oh... take the next left and go straight for five blocks. You can't miss it.
Helvetica is a widely used typeface. It can be found anywhere from street signs to corporate logos. It's a safe font. It looks classy like it can belong anywhere. Now assuming typefaces sleep (and also dream), Helvetica's subconscious would form repressed visions of abnormality, of absurdity, of its own self image. In short, Helvetica's Nightmare isn't a scary thing. It's still everywhere but twisted in such a fashion that it's no longer there.
